UVN lamps (conventional, straight, low pressure lamps)
UVC lamps designated UVN emit light mainly of the wavelength 253.7 nm. This type is manufactured on our premises. Three different types of quartz are used ac- cording to the intended application.
However, as low-cost Philips lamps are available, we concentrated our manufacturing on specialist lamps made to customers specifications, or lamps made of ozone-producing quartz.
It is also possible for us to supply lamps which have only one section of the tube made of ozone-producing quartz, to enable the ozone to be fully exploited.
