These lamps emit light with wavelengths between 280
and 400 nm. The primary radiation is 253.7 nm and is
converted into radiation of a different wavelength by
means of a luminous layer. We are Philips main agent
in Germany for these lamps.
They are used in the following fields: curing, stimulation
of fluorescence, materials analysis or ageing, and insect
control.
